Michelle Obama Shoe Coming to the Ritz-Carlton

You’re going to have to wait until January 17th to see the shoe (that’s the first lady’s birthday)… and you’re going to have to stay the night in the Presidential Suite at the Ritz-Carlton in Palm Beach (it’s only $4 to $6K a night) …. but you’ll see a great display of Miami artist/designer Robert Tabor work.  Tabor has designed and created a wall of shoes from various women’s personalities in history including Eve.

Other notable women Tabor themed shoes after are Princess Diana, Hilary Clinton, Queen Elizabeth II, Jackie Kennedy and Martha Washington.

I recently spent three days working with the Seminole Hard Rock Casino’s and Seminole Gaming for their custom publication ‘Seminole Player’s Life”.  I worked with a great photo editor, Jean Herr, and Leslie Sadler for the project.  The shot list had a wide variety of images from gaming lessons, slots to food photography.  We used a great food stylist from the Tampa area, Margie Kane who really made the food look great!

MSNBC picks my photograph as a memorable image of the past 10 years

MSNBC picked my photographs of a Jet-Ski zig-zagging through St. Lucie River in Stuart, FL. as one of the 60 most memorable images of the past 10 years in ‘The Week In Pictures’.  It was a nice kudo considering all the historical events that have happened over the past 1o years.  The editors of The Week In Pictures said they like to not only showcase the news images from around the world but also the slice of life photos of everyday life.  Either way I was very honored.
